Customized Korra Action Figure by Yamino Customized Korra Action Figure by Yamino

As you can see, I somehow managed to get a lot of little painted details on her face! (I had removed the previous paint job with acetone.) I had the idea to use my finest micron pens to outline her eyes/draw her pupil, which worked great.

I wish I had the skill to resculpt her face, but it was much too small, and I would have made a mess of it. Itís not perfectly on model (itís based on a real wrestler) but itís good enough for me. I also didnít resculpt her top, which still shows the faint outline of a bikini and has a little too much cleavage. Her hair braids cover it most of the time, though.

I will try to make her fur-lined skirt thingie eventually, but Iím not sure where to start on that. I have zero textile skill, and donít own any sewing materials. =/

For those asking, I used Sculpey Firm to make the added parts. (Hence why I had to bake her in the oven.)

I can't remember now-- it was a female Latina wrestler, based on a real person.

well considering that no one else has even tried to sculpt a korra toy, i'd say this one came out just fine. be proud

Bake Korra in the oven?

I am sure she liked that since she is obviously very much into firebending, yes?

This is awesome! Pre-series too! Which makes sense, if we waited for Mattel to make Korra, we'd be waiting forever.

if i may make a suggestion, if you ever plan on doing other figures like this; the heads look to be ball jointed, so you could probably swap parts from other toys/figures to find a head closer to the characters. star wars, G.I joe, and marvel figures all have some okay head sculpts that could be of use~

Brilliant job on this, but her face looks a little 'manly' for her overall look. No offense on that, it's just her jawline makes it look like The Crimson Chin was her dad.
