I'm so tired of people complaining about humanized ponies being not white enough, or not skinny enough. ChubbyPie ain't even mad. She knows friendship is about bringing all types of peple (and ponies) together.
I find the term, "Chubby" to be a bit unneeded, especially coming from someone who singlehandedly caused an uproar over a certain character being called something derogatory. But that's just me, despite that, though, the body proportions and design of her fit very well.
I've always pictured Pinkie as being chubby, since she's uber obsessed with sweets- I mean, she has PIE right in her name!! All the ponies have to be different, It would be no fun if they were all stereotypical! Friendship IS Diversity!
It made me so happy when I saw someone had made Pinky Pie chubby. ;3; It makes sense, considering the amount of sugar she ingests on a daily basis, and it was nice to see a pony that was closer to my size. I'm terribly insecure, especially about my chubbiness, and to see a character (even a humanized cartoon pony) portrayed that way feels amazing
Seriously, I can't stand when people, especially guys, automatically assume that being chubby is always unattractive! I've known plenty of cute chubby girls!
If I were to actually get around to drawing and posting anything, I'd probably use Irma Lair (W.I.T.C.H. comics) as a reference for a possible body type for my take on a human-Pinkie Pie.
And it's nice to see people having their different interpretations of how each pony would be in human form. One of my favorite versions of human-Twi makes her look like a mix of white-asian, and I think tanned skin tone would fit human-Celestia very well.
