Amsterdam - Concept Background

Another piece of concept art for my Nightingale story. If I make this a comic, I won't have the time or patience to work on very detailed and rendered backgrounds. What I want to do is make a painterly backdrop that hints at details, but focuses on really capturing the mood and atmosphere of this beautiful old European city. The canals are eerie and beautiful at night.
